This train is a transfer run from the KCS Knocke Yard in the est bottoms of Kansas City to the hugh BNSF yard in Argentine on the western side of Kansas City, Kansas. The Schneider Trucking containers are a runthrough from the CSX at Venice Illinois. They travel over the old Gateway Western portion of the KCS to Kansas City and then the BNSF picks them up and hauls them westward as part of one of their trains. This is a six day a week run in both directions. The business on this connection has increased 80 percent in the last 8 years. This is another example of Michael Haverty's forsight just like the Meridian Corridor, the old Gateway Western still has a place in the race from east to west.
